Little Miss Eugene -
MacKenzie Essin is the 2019 Little Miss Eugene Pro Rodeo. MacKenzie is a 12 year old that loves riding and everything about horses. She has been focused on horsemanship, public speaking, and rodeo skills all while working hard as a straight A middle school student. When she isn’t dancing for the Sheldon Colleens or playing competitive soccer she is at the Rolling H Ranch helping her aunt and uncle with the horses. She wants to inspire girls and boys to chase their dreams and overcome adversity and is excited to be representing the Eugene Pro Rodeo
Miss Eugene Pro Rodeo
Katie Ralston is 2019 Miss Eugene Pro Rodeo. Katie is the daughter of Denise and Jeremy Ralston. She is 21 years old and Cottage Grove, Oregon is where she calls home. Katies love for horses has shown her whole life, although in high school Katie excelled in cheerleading, softball, volleyball and even wrestling. As a junior in high school Katie decided she wanted to try to be a rodeo queen and hasn’t looked back since. She has been rodeo royalty for 4 years coming into this title and she is proud to say Eugene is her 5th and favorite title. Her love for horses, horsemanship, and the sport of rodeo has taken her in a different direction in life. Katie plans on attending farrier school in the fall. But her true passion is equine therapy, working with kids and adults with disabilities. In her free time if she’s not riding, at a rodeo, or at the barn she loves to spend time with her big family. Katies strong love for god, her family and her horses are what shaped her into the women she is today. She feels very blessed to be able to be apart of the Eugene Pro Rodeo.
