2008 & 2009 Miss Eugene Pro Rodeo Queen
Rachel Anderson

My name is Rachel Anderson.  This cowgirl grew up 15 miles west of Eugene in the small country town of Elmira.  It is my pleasure to serve as your rodeo queen for a second year. I have spent the last 23 years of my life on the back of a horse either showing, barrel racing, or on a trail. Besides riding my horse, I enjoy being involved and serving in the community. I have been fortunate to be able to volunteer with different agencies such as; Food for Lane County, Children’s Miracle Network, Fill the Boot, Toys 4 tots and American Red Cross.

In September, 2007, I graduated from Western Oregon University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Health Education and a Minor in Business. After graduating from college I began pursuing a permanent career. In my free time, I am working on becoming a competitive barrel racer and am currently competing in the Northwest Professional Rodeo Association.

I am honored to be your 2009 Eugene Pro Rodeo Queen. It is a privilege to represent such a wonderful rodeo. Come out and enjoy the best 4th of July experience around!
